Due to pervasive and systemic barriers in education rooted in racial bias and stereotypes, children of color fare worse and enjoy less opportunities in obtaining a high quality education. These barriers and poor educational outcomes result in lower life earnings, limited job opportunities, increased risk of economic securities, among other consequences. Join the Education Law and Policy Society of the University of Washington School of Law as we explore the multi-profession challenges and responses to disparities in the K-12 education setting.
